News Updates April 2019

We apologise for the fact that this news site has not been updated recently for a variety of technical reasons.

It is our intention to update the news as and when it happens and with our plans for the current year we will be adding news of two exciting new projects, commencing with an announcement, released jointly with ReWalk Robotics at the end of last month, concerning AID’s involvement in fund raising for Lucy Dodd to acquire new legs to enable her to walk again after many years in a wheelchair.

AID will very soon be announcing its provision of another ReWalk exoskeleton for a young man in Shropshire who lost the use of his legs after a serious climbing accident.

In addition to AID’s involvement with this exciting ReWalk programme, we will soon be announcing another venture, where AID is involved in a training programme for dogs to “sniff out” MND, which, it is believed, will reduce the diagnosis time for this dreadful condition.
